Fit & use

Is the Eaglet the right canoe for you?

The Eaglet is designed to handle a wide range of paddlers and uses, but it isn’t the largest option in the lineup. If you’re planning to paddle tandem with two very large paddlers and heavy expedition-style loads, the Eagle will generally feel more settled and better suited to that role.

As a solo canoe, the Eaglet comfortably accommodates larger paddlers. Very small paddlers who plan to use the canoe primarily as a solo may find that a smaller hull, such as the Mayfly or Kestrel, feels more proportional and easier to manage day to day.

For paddlers who want one canoe that adapts between solo and tandem use without stepping up to a full-size tandem, the Eaglet tends to strike a practical balance.
